    At GeckoDub (operated by 8logic d.o.o.), we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our localization services.

    2. Data We Collect

    Account Information

    Name and email address provided during sign-up.

    Content Data

    Videos, audio files, images, and text you upload for localization ("User Input").

    Usage Data

    IP addresses and interaction data collected to improve Service performance.

    3. How We Use Your Data

    We use your data to process localized content, manage subscriptions via Stripe, and provide technical support. We do not sell your personal data or uploaded content to third parties for marketing purposes.

    4. Third-Party Data Processing

    We share relevant portions of your Content Data with Third-Party AI Providers solely to execute localization tasks. We utilize enterprise-grade API connections where, to the best of our ability, your data is not used to train their public foundational models.

    5. Payments

    All financial transactions are handled by Stripe. 8logic does not store your credit card information.

    6. Data Retention

    We retain your content only as long as necessary to provide the Service. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.

    • Account data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of account closure, unless legally required to retain longer (e.g., for tax or accounting purposes).
    • User Input and generated Output: Retained for at least three (3) months while the subscription is active and for one (1) month after subscription ends, after which content may be permanently deleted without further notice.
    • Billing records: Retained for 5 years as required by Slovenian and EU tax law.
    • Usage analytics: Retained in aggregated/anonymized form indefinitely; identifiable analytics retained up to 24 months.

    7. Other Service Providers

    We also use the following providers to operate our business:

    • Stripe — payment processing
    • PostHog — product analytics
    • Google Tag Manager — tag and analytics management
    • Meta Pixel — advertising measurement and retargeting
    • Cloud hosting providers (in the EU) — for storing accounts and processing content

    9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

    We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, analytics (PostHog, Google Tag Manager), and advertising (Meta Pixel). Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent through our cookie consent banner. You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time via the consent banner or your browser settings.

    10. Email Communications

    Transactional emails (e.g., video processing complete, billing notifications) are sent based on our legitimate interest in delivering the Service and cannot be opted out of without closing your account.

    Marketing emails (product updates, feature announcements) are sent only with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email.

    11. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version.
